Mrs. Amelia Fox

DOBBS FERRY--Mrs. Amelia Yale Fox, 77, died unexpectedly at home here Thursday.

Born Sept. 15, 1893, in Spuyten Duyvil, she was married June 15, 1926, in Waterville to Edward B. Fox, who survives.

Educated in Utica Schools, she lived in Dobbs Ferry for the past 45 years.

She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph or Arimathea in Elmsford and the Woman's Workshop at the church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Barbara) Doubleday of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Ben H. (Margaret) Hutchinson, Jr., of Lexington, Mass.; two sons, Lt. Cmdr. William Yale Sneed, stationed in Guam, and Robert Yale Fox of South Salem; a brother, William Yale of Chester, N. H., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
