- He was of Plas-yn-Yale, and married Gwenwhyfar, daughter of RichardLloyd, of Llwynynmaen, drived from Hedd Molwynog, Lord of Uwch Aled,and had issue, five sones and two daughters as follows: John Yale,also called John Wyn, or Wynn, of whom presently. Griffith Lloyd,a doctor. Thomas Yale, LL. D., Prebendary of St. Asaph, 7 July1564. Dean of the Arches, and Chancellor of Bangor. Dr. Yale, whowas also Chancellor of Matthew Parker, Archbishop of Canterbury, died1577. Hugh Yale, Alerman of Oswstery. Roger Lloyd ap Ellis, ofBrynglas Lloyd, Co Denbigh, called "Mr Ellis," who was Secretary toardinal Wolsey, married Katherine, daughter of William ap GriffithVychan, Lord of Kymmer-yn-Edeirnion, and a baron of Edeirnion, quivixit June, 15 Henry VIII, 1525, and was father of John Wynne ap RogerLloyd, of Caedwrig, ancestor of the Lloyds of Plas Einion, BrynEglwys. &c. Jane, married 1st, Edward Trevor, Brynkynnalt, co.Denbigh, and 2ndly, John Hammer. Ellen, married Robert Lloyd, ofHalghton.
