Notes

  • [WFT Pedigree #1068 dec of capt nathaniel turner.FTW]     [BrøderbundWFT Vol. 1, Ed. 1, Tree #1068, Date of Import: Aug 7, 2000]     Livedmost of life at the old "Coley Homestead" in Thomaston, CT, althoughhis address is variously listed as Fluteville, Plymouth, PlymouthHollow, Waterbury, Litchfield, and Thomaston.  This piece of realestate evidentally changed administrative jurisdiction several timesover the years.  The old home was still in existence in 1965, with thefamily carpentry shop across the road.  Samuel was the last of ourline to carry on the trades of carpentry and farming in the manner ofour ancestors.  After his death, the old farm was sold since it thesoil of this hill country was too depleted to support a family.
