- Captain in civil war and member of the New York Commandey of the"Loyal Legion." His occupation was the nursery buisness until 1878when he removed to Columbia, Texas and was a planter of sugar, cornand cotton, until the death of his wife, when he went to Chicago wherehe resided with a relative.
